Frequently Asked Questions

Can individuals apply for accreditation?

No. Accreditation is granted to corporate entities only (companies, law firms, audit firms, professional service providers). Individual professionals should consider IDAA Professional Membership instead.

What happens if accreditation is not renewed?

Accreditation designation expires, access to protocol tools and technical support is revoked, and listing is removed from IDAA website. Previously issued case documentation remains valid.

Can accreditation be revoked?

Yes. IDAA reserves the right to revoke accreditation for regulatory enforcement actions, professional misconduct, protocol standards violations, or failure to maintain insurance coverage.

Are there geographic restrictions?

No. Accreditation is open to entities worldwide. Providers must comply with local regulations in jurisdictions where they operate.
