"Code is Law within the blockchain. Evidence is Law in the global economy."
Protocol Standard v1.0 · 1CAD-2026-V1.0 · Active

The 1CAD Protocol is a documentation and evidence standard for digital asset verification, compliance evidence, custody controls, source-of-funds clarity, sanctions risk review, and institutional documentation. It makes blockchain transactions readable and defensible for banks, legal counsel, auditors, and regulators worldwide.

Protocol Overview

1CAD stands for First Capital Architecture Defence — the first layer of documentation before any bank, fund, lawyer, or investor touches a digital asset. It transforms on-chain events into institutionally recognized business records with cryptographic proof, regulatory compliance mapping, and immutable archival.

The protocol does not make blockchain centralized. It makes blockchain readable to institutions that operate under regulated frameworks: banks, auditors, legal counsel, compliance teams, and government agencies.

What 1CAD is: A documentation standard for converting blockchain events into compliance-ready evidence.

What 1CAD is not: A payment rail, custody service, exchange, or substitute for regulated financial infrastructure.

Framework Architecture

The 1CAD Protocol Standard v1.0 is structured across multiple functional layers. The following sections are referenced in formal case documentation and regulatory submissions:

Consumer Protection Layer
§113-114
Defines conditions under which IDAA accepts and documents digital asset retention cases. Establishes baseline criteria for consumer dispute eligibility.
Case Acceptance Criteria
§115
Merit of case, jurisdictional relevance, documentation availability. Cases must meet threshold requirements for technical verification and regulatory pathway mapping.
Case Documentation
§116
Technical blockchain verification of transaction ID, wallet balances, and custody status. Confirms on-chain delivery and asset retention with cryptographic proof.
Disclosure & Technical Compliance
§117-118
Assessment of misleading disclosure and false technical pretext. Evaluates provider communication for clarity, accuracy, and alignment with technical facts.
MiCA Compliance Assessment
§119
Evaluation of MiCA compliance for EU resident complainants. Reviews CASP authorization status, complaint handling procedures, and consumer protection obligations.
Regulatory Escalation Pathways
§120
Mapping of jurisdiction-specific regulatory authorities: OCIF (Puerto Rico), CFPB/FinCEN (USA), ESMA (EU), Banco de España (Spain), and other relevant supervisory bodies.
Case Status Logic
§121
Lifecycle status determination: OPEN → ACTIVE → UNDER REVIEW → ESCALATED → RESOLVED → CLOSED → PRECEDENT. Each transition requires documented evidence and timestamp.
Status Change Procedures
§122
Formal notification requirements for status changes. Provider must notify all parties and archive timestamped records in immutable vault upon each transition.
Consent for Publication
§123
Explicit written consent obtained from complainant before public case registry publication. Ensures privacy protection and voluntary disclosure.

Five-Document Compliance Package

Every case documented under the 1CAD Protocol produces a standardized five-document compliance package, archived in an immutable vault with cryptographic timestamps. This package is suitable for submission to regulatory authorities, legal counsel, and institutional review.

01

Events Attestation Report

Technical verification of blockchain transaction ID, wallet balances, and AML risk profile. Confirms asset delivery and custody status with on-chain evidence. AML analysis via Scorechain or equivalent.

02

Wallet Control Certificate

ECDSA signature published on blockchain explorer proving voluntary, authorized transaction by complainant. Demonstrates cryptographic proof of wallet ownership and intent.

03

AML Compliance Summary

Analytics report confirming wallet balances and source-of-funds clarity. Verifies complainant's wallet has clean origin with no mixer, sanctions exposure, or illicit activity.

04

Corporate Resolution

Formal corporate resolution converting digital asset transaction into official institutional business record. Issued by IDAA Accredited Provider under governance framework.

05

1CAD Attestation Certificate

Summary certificate with vault ID, QR verification, and protocol reference. Suitable for regulatory submission (OCIF, ESMA, CFPB, FinCEN). Immutable archive with cryptographic proof.
